What do Mexican gamers feel about the portrayal of Mexican culture in video games?

Responses from Mexican gamers

Game designers often use familiar and popular elements that are stereotypical of Mexican culture, but they do so without a proper grasp of their historical significance when creating characters and settings.

This thesis collected the perspectives of Mexican gamers on incorporating their cultural heritage in video games, as there has been limited research on their opinions regarding this topic. Previous studies have primarily focused on the use of Mexican culture in video games rather than the perceptions of Mexican gamers themselves..

This website's goal is to teach developers about the usage of Mexican culture in their upcoming projects rather than to condemn them for their past work. Mexican gamers were surveyed for this project and their responses will be insightful.
